Ski touring to the "Pointe de Nyon"; great conditions: 30 cm of fresh and light snow. Heavy production of artificial snow in Morzine by the Pleney-Nyon Chamoissière skilift company. Looks good so far...
February’s been a fantastic month – lots of people and plenty of places to ski! The snow has fallen, the sun has come out : conditions in Morzine couldn’t be much better !
The snow in Morzine just isn’t stopping – the pile in front of our office is growing, and it looks beautiful on the pistes…all the instructors all have big smiles on their faces!
What a good week again, the snow is back the conditions on the piste are great!
Here is Laurent with a clients walking up the Pointe de Nyon enjoying the view and the fresh snow before the slopes opened!
Even if the weather wasn’t great yesterday, Laurent and his clients made the most of the day!
Starting at L’Erigné (Vallée de la Manche) at 1150m, they got up to the Col de la Golèse 1662m, before they had to stop at 2280m because of the fog (just before the tête de Bostan 2406m)
And they did it all in 3 hours!
Here some photos of a Portes du Soleil Tour, with the details of the ski day via « ski tracks »! Laurent
Wednesday 20 March to Sunday 24 March 2013
From 10am at various venues round the Portes du Soleil.
Five international and French artists brought together over 5 days…at the heart of the pistes !
So far the artists for 2013 are: CALI, SKIP THE USE, CARAVAN PALACE, SUPERBUS... and more to come!
With snow forecast on Sunday and Monday we're about to have a pause from the heat wave that we've been enjoying in the Portes du Soleil for the last couple of weeks! Check out Marie-Laure's photos from her Discover Portes du Soleil day where she took guests round the area to show them how it all joins up (as well as taking them to the best snow!).
