Here some photos of a Portes du Soleil Tour, with the details of the ski day via « ski tracks »! Laurent
Another fab week of sunshine and snow in Morzine! We had lots of hard working pupils and plenty of not so hard working instructors, ha ha! (They gave the game away with the coffee break pics!) Judging by all the smiles on the faces of students and instructors alike, it seems like everyone had a blast! Many thanks to Dorothee for taking such great pics.
Laurent’s been in charge of the 4-5 year olds this week and for the first couple of days they’ve been in the children’s garden to get their pizza ‘n’ chip action organised (stopping and starting!). Everyone’s doing brilliantly getting through the hoops, ringing the bells and stopping at the bottom (see photos), so tomorrow they’re heading up the mountain to put their new skills into action on the slopes…watch this space!
As always, congratulations to everybody in group courses and private lessons last week! In a week where the powder was plentiful it was a joy to be on the mountain: listening to the instructors’ stories, it sounds like everyone made the most of the top conditions!
What a great start to 2013 – good snow on the piste and beautiful sunshine up here in Morzine! We’ve had lots of different classes running over the New Year period, from the 4-5year old beginners groups all the way up to Bronze level as well as all the levels in between!
Wednesday 20 March to Sunday 24 March 2013
From 10am at various venues round the Portes du Soleil.
Five international and French artists brought together over 5 days…at the heart of the pistes !
So far the artists for 2013 are: CALI, SKIP THE USE, CARAVAN PALACE, SUPERBUS... and more to come!
This was the last day the snow school had group lessons for the season 2011/2012.
Alex had started with his group as complete beginners and by the end of the week they were all able to do confident snowploughs, they spent the week skiing on the slopes of Nyon and Morzine!
